Chris State Fullerton had a good squad in 97, led by quarterback Chris Mack. He had the arm of a greek goddess, tightest spirals zipped into the hands of his quickest receivers, notable slot guy Chris Doug. Doug had 15 touchdowns that season, by far the most in the Chris-10. However, THE University of Chris were led by Michael Chris - top Chrisman candidate due to his excellent decision making skills.
Chris State Fullerton got shut out, 10-0 - not much offense in this game. Michael Chris went on to win the Chrisman Trophy that year.
